Make My Own Statement

a. My target audience are Americans who don't have free healthcare insurance.

b. I want my audience to know that not all of us are getting free healthcare, and we need to find ways to obtain it, being it protesting, or complaining to our state representatives.

c. This topic is important to me becuase the thought of me getting injured and then having to pay thousands of dollars for the bill upsets me because I believe that as a US citizen, the country should take care of my expensive health costs. I'm not rich, you know.

d. I think I was successful in getting my point across because asking "Free country, free healthcare?" causes people to think "if this is a free country, shouldn't we be getting free healthcare?" and if they don't have free healthcare, then they know it's an issue, and that they need to react. My image is the picture of a health insurance card depicted with the united states with a question mark on top. It also has "US Citizen" as the cardholder's name. I did this because it makes people think that all US citizens should have health care insurance, which is my statement.
